Nature Colouring Pages: Flowers, Trees, Weather and Seasons

  • Ages 3–10
  • Free to print
  • Many play on screen

Nature pages are a calm choice: flowers, leaves, trees, mushrooms, clouds, rainbows and the changing seasons. There are simple single objects for little ones and full scenes for older children, such as autumn leaves blowing in the wind, a garden being planted, a puddle-jumping day or a snowy village.

More about this collection

Take the colouring outside if you can. Collect a leaf and match its colour, look at the clouds before colouring the sky, or keep a seasons folder with one picture from each time of year. Nature pages are also a gentle way to settle down after a busy day.

Nature pages also fit science topics: seasons, weather, plants and life cycles. Colour a tree in each season and line the pictures up, or use the garden-planting scene to talk about what seeds need to grow. Keep a few nature pages for calm moments too: slow, careful colouring of leaves and flowers is a lovely way to wind down after school.

How to use these

  1. Go outside first and look for the colours you will need.
  2. Keep one page per season in a folder and compare them.
  3. Use pencils for detailed scenes and crayons for big shapes.
