Questions about plans

What do I get for free?

A free account lets you try Crayonbird: the library, the sheet generators, programmes and phonics, within a small one-time allowance (see the table above). No card is needed. When the allowance runs out, or you want a premium item, you can subscribe for unlimited use.

How do I cancel?

Open your account, go to Your plan and press Cancel plan, then confirm. You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for and you won't be charged again.

How does renewal work?

Plans renew automatically every month or every year, by card, until you cancel. For yearly plans we email you 7 days before the renewal with the date and the price. We'll always tell you before a price goes up.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within 7 days of your first payment, as long as no paid content has been used on your account (including by your children or students). Use the button under Your plan in your account, or write to [email protected]. Once paid content has been used, or after 7 days, we don't refund, unless the law gives you that right. Our terms explain the details.

Is there a plan for schools?

The Teacher plan is for one teacher, tutor or club leader and their classes. For several teachers or a whole school, email [email protected] with the number of teachers and we'll send you a quote.

What about my children's privacy?

Children never see a checkout: only grown-ups can buy a plan, and teens are asked to talk to a parent. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we only receive a customer reference and the state of your plan. Crayonbird has no ads and no trackers.

What happens to my saved work if I cancel?

Nothing is deleted. You keep everything you saved; you just can't open premium items until you have a plan again.

Which currency and payment methods?

Prices are in US dollars. You can pay by card; other local methods may be offered at checkout. If tax applies where you live, it is shown before you pay. Your bank may add a fee for payments in a foreign currency.
