Ramadan Activities for Kids
In 117 days
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, when Muslims fast from dawn to sunset, pray, read the Quran and give to people in need. Families share iftar, the meal at sunset, and suhoor before dawn; young children usually do not fast, but many join in with family traditions, kindness and charity. The month moves about eleven days earlier each year because it follows the moon.
