More about this collection

Try one tool at a time. Use Cornell notes for a week in one subject, or plan just your revision for the next exam on the planner. When a tool helps, keep it; if it does not, try a different one. Pair the templates with flashcards and practice questions for active revision, which works much better than re-reading notes.

All templates print cleanly in black and white, so they can be copied for a whole class, and many work well in a ring binder alongside class notes. Planning is half the battle: students who write a simple weekly plan usually find it easier to start work, because they know exactly what comes next.

How to use these

  1. Try Cornell notes in one subject for a week.
  2. Plan revision backwards from the exam date.
  3. Track one habit at a time, such as 20 minutes of reading.
