Skip counting means jumping by the same amount each time. Counting in 5s goes 5, 10, 15, 20. Counting in 10s goes 10, 20, 30. Counting in 100s goes 100, 200, 300.
You can start skip counting from any number. From 35, counting in 10s goes 45, 55, 65. To find a missing number in a pattern, work out the jump between the numbers you know.
