How the five boxes work

This is spaced repetition with Leitner boxes: you see each card again just before you would forget it.

  1. Step 1: Box 1

    New cards and cards you didn't know yet go into box 1. You see them every day.

  2. Step 2: Box 2

    Knew it? The card moves up to box 2 and comes back in 2 days.

  3. Step 3: Box 3

    Box 3: back in 4 days.

  4. Step 4: Box 4

    Box 4: back in a week.

  5. Step 5: Box 5

    Box 5: back in 2 weeks. A card that slips goes back to box 1.
