About this activity

What your child practises

Listening, recognising words or numbers quickly and taking turns in a group.

What’s included

Age and school year

Made for ages 4–11. That’s Pre-K – Grade 6 in the US, Reception – Year 7 in England, Nursery 1 – Primary 6 in Nigeria and LKG – Class 6 in India.

How to use it

  • Print it at home or school – it fits a standard A4 or US Letter page.
  • Write on it on a tablet or touchscreen with a finger or stylus – no printer needed.

Tips for parents and teachers

  1. Change the rules for variety: a line, four corners or a full card to win.
  2. Use buttons, coins or dried pasta as markers, and slip the cards into plastic sleeves to reuse them.
  3. Ask your child to teach you one thing from the sheet; explaining is a great test of understanding.
