A Picnic on the Moon
Name
One night, Leo could not sleep. He looked out of his window at the big round moon. “I wish I could have a picnic up there,” he said.
Leo closed his eyes and dreamed. In his dream, he rode a soft cloud all the way to the moon. He brought a blanket, three sandwiches and a jug of milk.
The moon was quiet and silver. Leo hopped very high because everything felt light. A little star came to say hello, so Leo shared his sandwich with her.
When Leo woke up, the sun was shining. He laughed. “Tonight I will dream about the moon again!”
